My Personal Statement
My Experience and Goals
Around 6 years ago I moved to the state of Texas from California. Since then my work and educational experience has changed drastically. I first started by enrolling into Ronald Reagan High School. There I completed 4 years and earned my high school diploma. While there, I also joined the golf team for a while until Covid hit and I left the team due to lack of play in tournaments. After that, during the summer before I attended college I applied for and got employed at Ancira, where I am still employed to this day. Here I learned many work ethics along with fundamentals of cooperation and mechanical works. At the end of the summer, I applied for UTSA and was accepted into the University. I spent 2 semesters at UTSA, studying various forms of engineering such as Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering. After I had spent 2 semesters there, I realized that I did not enjoy engineering and decided to pursue a career in a favorite hobby of mine in Video Games. I researched and found that Northwest Vista in the Alamo College District offers a Video Game Production Program that tailors classes and a degree specifically geared towards that career field. Knowing this, I enrolled into NVC as well and have started to take classes there. My end goal is to fully complete the program and find a career in Video Game Production before attending UTSA once again to obtain a higher education in Computer Science.
